Jose Torres Tattoo recommends and uses Saniderm for Tattoo Aftercare. Aftercare for your leg sleeve, body tattoo, back piece or neck piece are essential and Jose recommends the steps below as a guide for properly caring for your tattoo after getting inked.
**Saniderm bandages are breathable and this allows your tattoo to receive all the oxygen it needs for proper healing.
*Use an unscented antibacterial soap and apply a thin layer of ointment. I recommend unscented Lubriderm.
**If for whatever reason you get water underneath your bandage, remove it completely and gently wash any remaining adhesive from your tattoo.
Saniderm is an irritant resistant tattoo bandage. Providing custom tattoos near Fort Bragg, NC, a military town, I understand that my clients train often and therefore are exposed to water, dirt and friction. All of these factors could hinder the healing process and ultimately the longevity of the tattoo.
Saniderm works by locking in your body healing fluids so your tattoo stays hydrated and heals quickly and efficiently.
Bandages similar to Saniderm have been used by doctors for over 30 years, and have been known to reduce scaring and leave you with relatively no scabbing.
