Large tattoos cost around $200 an hour with a minimum of 6 hours required. The total cost starts at $1200 and goes up, depending how long your tattoo takes. Tattoo artist’s also require a deposit, which goes towards your tattoo and is required to lock in your scheduled date.

A half sleeve tattoo takes at least 2 days to complete, with most estimates starting at 12-16 hours or more. A full sleeve tattoo takes a minimum of 3 days and multiple sessions to complete, with the cumulative full sleeve tattoo sessions lasting more than 20 hours.

New tattoo healing happens in stages with the first stage lasting 1-2 weeks, especially when using Saniderm. Thereafter, everyone’s tattoo heals differently, depending on size and tattoo quality, with an average full healing of 2-3 months for larger tattoos.
